We aim to enhance our children’s education and opportunities at school by:
- stimulating communication and creating a better understanding between school and parent;
- providing a community. A great way to get to know other families in the school is by popping along to meetings, working together on fundraising events, and attending social events.
- by fundraising. We raise thousands of pounds each academic year to improve our children’s school experience and the school’s facilities.
We also send out a regular newsletter with the school newsletter on Fridays and you can contact us directly at Lyndhurst.email@example.com
A committee is elected each year and there are two volunteer class reps for each class. Monthly meetings are held and dates for these can be found in the school calendar or in the weekly newsletter. The meetings are open to all and new ideas and fresh faces at our meetings are always welcome. We hope to see you at one soon!
Our Class Reps are an invaluable conduit of communication between the classroom and the home. Parents volunteer their time to pass on news about upcoming school events, as well as listen to queries some parents may have, which they may like to pass on to teachers.
Do expect to be contacted by your Class Rep to ask for you to help out at certain times of the year – nudge, nudge!
