04 Mar Sports Relief
Sport Relief day is fast approaching us! This year it is on Tuesday 10th March and Lyndhurst will be taking part in the fun. Please find below a few things that will be happening on Tuesday:
- All of the classes will be competing against each other in a target throw activity. Each class will have 15 minutes to see how many points they can score in our Japanese themed target, as Japan is the host nation for the next Olympic Games.
The event will start at 8:45am, so we are encouraging adults to come and join in at that time. If you would like to join in please arrive just before this time.
- Cooking club will be selling healthy snacks after school on that day (Tuesday 10th March) – all money will go towards Sports Relief.
- Year 5 and 6 will be competing against each other during the afternoon in an ultimate Frisbee competition.
We would like to encourage children to wear red on Tuesday and would ask for a small donation of £1 towards Sports Relief. Be creative i.e. red hair, red face, red clothes, and red shoes!
Thank you in advance for your support and we look forward to having lots of fun.
