The Huka Falls of the Waikato river. Waikato means “flowing water” in the Maori language (native people of New Zealand).
This week you can hear a new feature about amazing facts about Lyndhurst – such as the gardening club and what children think of the new lunch hall.
We also talk about what children have been learning in class – place value and the human body and things you shouldn’t be afraid of. Finally, we made a story together titled “A Girl Called Molly” and played a quick game of 21 Questions – can you guess what the animal is?
