Music

Curriculum intent

Through Music at Lyndhurst our aim is to engage, inspire and challenge our pupils through sound, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to listen, perform and create with confidence.

Children learn about different music through their lessons, and there is a strong focus on developing their vocal skills. There are dedicated singing sessions that help work on technique and prepare pupils for the regular performances.

What we OFFER

OUR PUPILS

Pupils have the opportunity to perform in concerts, including the spirited Festive Concert in the Winter and the concert for soloists in the spring. Instrumental lessons are on offer in piano, violin, guitar and drums.
