Lyndhurst’s running club have been training week in, week out on a Monday after school. They have worked extremely hard and have been able to put this work to practice as we attended two cross country events. The first at Rosemead Primary School and the second at Alleyn’s Junior School. All of the runners did incredibly well and it was clear to see that the hard work they have put in has paid off. They all ran with smiles on their faces, and they never gave up, no matter which position they finished. There was a wonderful team spirit on show at both events, with the children not only cheering on their own school friends, but also children from all of the schools too. A special shout out to Marlene who received a silver medal in dramatic fashion at Rosemead, as she overtook someone on the finish line. Also, another shout out for Campbell, who finished 4^thin a very competitive Year 6 boys’ race at Alleyn’s, with over 40 runners.
